BREEDING PARTNER:

Tbd! He's only a baby. Honestly.

PERSONALITY:

Young Sultan is haughty on first approach - but try not to judge him too harshly for it. It's his upbringing that did it to him. As part of a very rich clan of Nocturnes with almost royal status amongst their peers, he was always taught to regard himself as the very best - unworthy of even having other dragons lay eyes on him.

On this year's Night of the Nocturnes, however, his growing curiosity got the better of him, and a failed attempt at watching the world from a distance led to him being discovered by a passing clan. Furious at his disobedience - and far more concerned about the reputation of their entire family than one son's welfare - his family informed him that they would no longer support him, and that if he wished to return to the skies with them then he would have to do something spectacular earn his place.

Far too young to be left alone, Sultan would have been more likely to die than to redeem himself had he not been found half-starved by fatherly Imperial Moss on a hunting trip. He was brought back to the clan's main home and allowed to feed and rest in safety. Amidst some curiosity and concern - what was this strange kind of dragon they'd never seen before? - from younger members of the clan, Keren eventually overruled all the murmurs to offer him a permanent place to stay. Weakened and clever enough to know when he'd been defeated by the wilderness outside, Sultan accepted.

Against his better judgement, he quickly adapted to life in the clan and learned how to relax. He's still a very guarded individual, and probably will be for some time - but at least now he's amongst kinder folks, forging friendships and a safe home that he will never have to earn, and he will never be turned away from.
