^{The Dreamer Warrior}

Iris doesn't know who her real parents are. Not that she cares to know, they weren't the ones that raised her anyway.
Instead, her egg was found by a clan of Wildclaws, who thrived on the art of hunting, one that Iris learnt rather early, too.
She'd leave to hunt with her adoptive parents, learned all the intricacies of it, her claws and teeth sharp, her spear sharper, she was a merciless hunter, and a ruthless fighter.

But she was still but a Fae, and even though none of her clanmates hated her for that, she was still overly protected, they'd tell her that she was too small, too weak, too fragile to go out there and hunt on her own, even though she proved time and time again that she could handle herself, that she was strong and competent.
In her desperation to prove how she was just as capable as any other Wildclaw, she got careless, and with a single misstep, she was half blinded. The creature she had been trying to hunt got a lucky hit in, and now, her left eye was scarred, and half her vision lost, she returned with a bleeding heart, and was thoroughly cared for by her clanmates, each one telling how she should stop, for it wasn't her duty to hunt.

The whole ordeal had broken her heart, and she remained doing other duties for the clan for a long, long while, she had changed, the fighting spirit that was in her, once strong and determined, had waned, she didn't smile and laugh at roastfires anymore, instead she'd simply sit in a corner, eating the bugs she'd mindlessly "hunted" instead of actual meat, she deemed herself unworthy.
