TANGLE, LEADER OF THE TIME FLIGHT
Tangle began his life as any other dragon would; hatched from an ordinary egg to ordinary parents from an ordinary clan. However, from the first breath he took, the first time he opened his swirling eyes, Tangle knew that he was anything but ordinary.
He was unusually still for a Spiral hatchling, and his parents feared for his health. He never spoke and spent most of his days studying or staring off into the middle distance. This is because Tangle would discover that he was not a Spiral at all. A wayward consciousness sent to serve... something.
At that time, he did not know what.
She appeared to him in a dream, thousands of glowing, twisting eyes, just like his, piercing into him as She spoke in tongues he could not understand. From that night he knew Her name.
Tangle was a servant of the Timeherald.
He packed his things and flew away the moment he awoke, leaving his clan and parents behind, just as She commanded. He was told to find Her, a corpse beneath the earth. His wanders soon turned to speeches and sermons as Tangle preached Her word. Yes, he would call, She is coming! The Timeherald will save us all!
The dragons and beastclans who did not mock or sneer joined him in their search for the deity of Time. She was lost, She had told Tangle in that dream that night, the night he was reborn as Her messenger. He needed to find Her and return Her to power.
Now, sitting as the leader of the Time Flight, Tangle studies religiously every day to try and understand the Timeherald's ciphers and prophetic dreams.
