“Study until you're absolutely sick of it. Then keep going anyway!”

ooooAlthough Cencha, the clan matriarch, could never bring herself to admit it out loud, she still suffers from nightmares dealing with the clan's very first exaltation. The young Jenac was a Water-eyed Tundra, a walking ghost with her light, stoney colors and detached personality. She was the very first to leave the clan to directly serve the Arcanist. Cencha once despised exaltation, but she let the Tundra leave after she nearly begged the clan leader. Cencha does not regret letting her leave, but visions of injured, lost dragons floating aimlessly through black voids slink through her mind every now and then.

____When she first saw Jenactel, she thought it was the past coming back to haunt her.

____Cencha was out investigating the very first Nocturne migration when she came across a strange purple egg. Covered in small round bumps, it nearly toppled over when she gently prodded it with her tail. The creature inside was extremely tiny, even smaller than a newborn Fae. It was one of the first three thousand Nocturnes hatched during the migration. Her coloring matched Jenac's so closely it frightened Cencha to her core. Her wings were only a single shade off from the Tundra's, and her primary coat was the exact same thistle hue. While initially terrified of the creature's existence, the way the small dragon imitated her mannerisms was, for lack of a better word, adorable. It was just so interesting that Cencha could not resist taking the Nocturne back to her clan. She also knew deep in her heart that she could never leave a hatchling all alone; it seemed like the other Nocturnes were too busy to worry themselves over one misplaced egg. The rest is history.

____Although she technically does not know if Jenac is gone from Sornieth, Cencha sometimes feels that the Nocturne is a reincarnation purposely driven to meet with her and ease her troubled mind. She named the dragon herself; a homage to the former clan member. Cencha bonded very quickly with Jenactel and became a dedicated surrogate mother.

____Jenactel adjusted to clan life quickly, but spent her first few weeks burrowing into Cencha and Genida's thistle fur. She was pone to hiding and camouflaging herself when other dragons were near. Her size was incredibly minuscule for a while, clocking in even tinier than Mirateli, the smallest of the clan. She grew to be even bigger than Cencha, but for a long time, the rest of the clan was unable to help because Nocturnes were so unheard of. Nowadays, she is more of a student than anything, trying to learn as much about her breed as she can. Because of this, she is considered the somewhat unofficial Nocturne Ambassador.

____Jenactel loves to learn about anything, She bounces between medical sessions with Henbria, fishing with Usepton, organization with Genida, kite making with Yuuca, and many more activities with almost all of her remaining clan mates. She likes to keep an open mind when approaching any subject, a trait she keeps strong because of her own life, which was taken in even when nothing was known about her or her breed.

____She is friends with absolutely everyone, but her closest relationships are with Cencha, who she considers her mother; Genida and Iftin, her adopted siblings, and Frosett, her best friend.

____She is more of an observer than a participant when it comes to battle.

____Her hoard is comprised of eggshells. Some are just broken, others are fragments from discarded eggs. Her favorites are the ones that are big enough for her to hold in her claws. She spends hours carving delicate patterns into the thin shards that eventually become beautiful little works of art.
