THE QUEEN
Though small in body, Selia's large, muscular wings grant her aerial agility as yet unmatched by any other dragon in her clan. Her mastery of her element is equally unmatched, and those who threaten her home will answer to the flames of a mightily irritated spellcaster whose fireballs are easily ten times her size.
In personality, Seliaeris is much like one would expect a stereotypical faerie dragon to be: fickle, mischievous, and selfish. However, first impressions can be deceiving: she cares very deeply for her clan, and those who harm them may find themselves reduced to a smoldering pile of ashes by the next sunrise. Selia does not play games. And despite her diminutive size, she is quite regal; she knows that she is small for a Queen, but she is the capital-Q Queen nonetheless, and she has more than enough attitude to compensate for her size.
In terms of romance, Selia definitely gets around. Though Horizon is her forever-mate, and the one she goes to for emotional support, she's not shy about nesting with other males... lots of other males. She even has no qualms about mating with males that more socially-conscious (or easily embarrassed) individuals might shy away from; Horizon's bloodline through his second mate, Leafchaser, spawned some young male dragons she just couldn't pass up, and one of her most long-lasting nestmates was Horizon's grandson, Flutterfly. She tends to keep secondary mates for anywhere from a few months to a year, but, fickle as she is, she inevitably gets bored and moves on. Still, to be a consort of the Queen, however temporary, is a position of high honor in the clan.
Her children, as one would expect, are spread far and wide. She hears from some of them on occasion, and others not so much. But she doesn't worry. She raised them to take care of themselves.
