On a cold night while Otoniel was on patrol by himself, this little guy flew directly into the unsuspecting Wildclaw's face. The wind must have caught the poor baby and he couldn't control himself. It was that time of year where the Nocturnes started to hatch, after all.
Upon looking up at the stunned Wildclaw, he immediately clung to what looked like his 'mama.' And there he has stayed, imitating his new friend.

Since then, he has become the clans messenger; however, he cannot speak. He seems incapable of pronouncing the syllables required for the common draconic language. He instead makes bizarre clicking and chirping noises with his mouth to respond. He appears to fully understand what others are saying to him, he simply cannot give a fully coherent reply. Occasionally, he can distort the chirps and clicks to sound like something such as 'Please' or 'Thank you,' but that's about all he can manage. To compensate for this lack of speech, he was given a recording device, which allows whoever is sending the package to prerecord something to be played upon delivery. Sometimes it...malfunctions, but it's a prototype, they're working on it. Still learning to write, just in case the device breaks and he really needs to communicate with someone. It's a work in progress. Don't worry about it.
