The snowy owl also known as the polar owl are most commonly found in arctic regions and they breed mostly in the tundra. They are one of the largest species of owl and is the only owl with mostly white plumage. This owl is mostly active during the day especially during the summertime.

They can breed once per year and are primarily found to be a monogamous species but have been found to have a few unconfirmed cases of polyamory. Their clutched vary from 7-9 eggs but have been recorded to reach 15 or 16 at times.
