Biography
GIRL INTRUDER WITH NO FUTURE, A COMPUTER CLAIMS MY SOUL; BURDENED WITH A NASTY BURNING, OBSCENE YEARNING FOR CONTROL!
TAPEWORM, THE DOUBTFUL FOLLOWER
To Tapeworm, the world has been nothing but cruel. Her parents abandoned her egg in the nest of two guardians- the father an ambassador for Earth, and the mother one of the Plaguebringer's disciples. An unwanted blight in the nest of their offspring made the guardians furious. So the mother cursed Tapeworm's egg- the hatchling inside would forever rot, yet always survive.
When Tapeworm hatched, wet and slick with her own blood, the first thing she felt was guilt. Looking into the cruel eyes of her "parents", Tapeworm knew she was not supposed to exist.
Years passed. Her "siblings" grew up healthy and well. Whenever they were upset, they blamed it on her, the cursed one, the changeling-child. Her father was distant. Her mother was anything but- taking out any anger on her. Tapeworm learned to walk on eggshells.
One day, she snapped and had enough.
She'll never forget the taste of her mother's blood. The feeling of neck bones crunching between her teeth. The whistling of the wind as she soared away, feeling dirty and yet so free.
Tapeworm crashlanded in the Shifting Expanse. She found work, a passion for robotics. Finally, something she was good at, something she wouldn't ruin!...
Until the day came where her boss- an old pearlcatcher- sauntered up, tapping her shoulder. Told her that she wasn't what the Stormcatcher was looking for. That she couldn't stay.
She'd been fired. It didn't sting. It was numb, her blood already cold. Warmed by fresh viscera on her claws, her eyes as glassy as the shattered pearl in front of her.
Once again Tapeworm fled. This time, she was found by a spiral who preached holiness- cleanliness. To be pure under the Timeherald's word, to go back in time and be reborn.
That's not an offer someone like her could refuse.
So now she waits for the Timeherald to claim her, still a dragonet, blood on her talons and rot in her lungs. Waiting for salvation that will never come.

TRIVIA
- Tapeworm has tried to run away from the Heartwyrm on multiple occasions, but has always come back.
- The nature of her curse states that, no matter what, she cannot die by natural means. (This hasn't stopped her from trying.)
- Tapeworm's favored familiars are mimics. She keeps a few and gives them all silly names.
- Unlike other ridgeback dragons, Tapeworm enjoys swimming, and does so whenever she can.
- Tapeworm was originally bought to be my Airy HFJone fandragon, but then I found a dragon with better colors and a few of the genes I needed. She sat around in my hibernal den for a little bit and I was thinking of exalting her before the Riot of Rot rolled around, and with it, the Stained Mould accent. It suited her perfectly and I based her lore around that!
- Despite being an Earth dragon, and currently residing in Plague with the rest of the Time Flight, Tapeworm has a distinct Lightning accent.
- She is by far my most spoiled dragon. Like, look at this.
