A shapeshifting wolf dragon who resides in the Foxfire Bramble. They were there before Trip ever first set up her cirque within the bramble. Originally first disturbed by the lights and sounds of the cirque being set up, the kind dragons within that had followed Trip on the first expedition would leave out extra food for Obscura, eventually leading to them warming up to the others.
Obscura now uses their ability to shapeshift into a smaller, wolf form to hunt for meat for the other cirque members who need it.

Trip is trying to get them to try joining in on an act ("Perhaps you could jump through hoops? Or! You could tightrope walk as a nimble wolf!"), but Obscura has no such interests. They are perfectly fine just helping by feeding what they now think of as fellow pack-mates...
