"The forest sings at night - can't anyone else hear it?"
It was quite a shock when Serephen and Snow hatched their clutch and found a pair of wide eyes and a body of fluffy fur among the rest of their hatchling fae. There was near panic as everyone in the Retreat searched for an explanation - until Peach calmly suggested that, perhaps, the Gladekeeper herself shepherded the egg to their clutch for safekeeping. So, Hywela was raised as Serephen and Snow's child - and chose to stay with them at the Retreat in his maturity, tending to the parts of their grove that dip into Shadow's lands. He leaves frequently to advertise their services to outsiders and bring them back; Aloadae believes he has the makings of a dancer.
