D E S C R I P T I O N
"I didn't claw my way to my current position, only to let things remain in stasis. Let's make a habit of questioning the praxis, and aiming ever higher." Highlady Sapt is the first-ever Nomarch of the Region who managed to carve her seat in the bedrock of the marshland, without being born from a regal line at all. It says a lot about the woman's determination, resilience, and political wits. Sapt was born in highly influential spheres of the Kheme region still, even if she wasn't at all from a royal family or pre-destined to leadership at all. She's well-versed in politics, academic research, and history, and she was already an extremely competent scholar in Theology and Sociology before accessing her current title of Nomarch. |

She is very dedicated, both as a leader and a person. She's devout to the Plaguebringer, the Kheme Region, and her people, as well as her own cultural heritage. Her determination and sharpness are great strengths of her, and she's focused on results no matter the means. In general, she's a calm and charismatic person. She rarely ever loses her temper (if it happens: run) and has excellent control of her emotions. She's not a cold dragon, however, and her dedication to her kin and passion usually shine through.
She is a great manipulator and a hard nut to crack. Her ambition and a certain pragmatism make her focus on the results more than the means of achieving them. In fact, it is well known that no hit is too low for her if she deems the result worth the leap.
Sapt is not a malevolent person in the slightest, but if the greater good implies getting her hands dirty, she will just fetch something to get them cleaned once it's done. She has a fantastic network (not only as a ruler or political figure) and many ways to get things done. No one knows of her exact body count, but everyone has an idea.
In the privacy (which is often a luxury for her), Sapt is a more relaxed person. She's curious and enthusiastic, she likes a good joke or audacious wits. She rarely talks about herself. Arthur very likely is one of the very few people who knows her well on a personal level.

Arthur has been a very close friend of Sapt for a while now. The Longneck Chef has been working in the Imperial's circles for a significant time now, and they grew very close. When she was elected as the new Nomarch, she requested him to be hired as her personal chef. Not unlike Sapt, Arthur is quite the calm and charismatic figure, but he appears much softer and laid-back than her in general. He's not the ambitious kind, and he's very attached to his routine and the tranquil flow of his life. He welcomes challenges and novelties with open arms, but finds comfort and resources in the simple things of everyday life. He loves cooking (obviously), and enjoys a good book or a stroll at the banks of the Marrow Run in his free time. |

· Sapt enjoys meeting with her citizens in person when she can afford it. She tries to keep a few hours in her planning each week to take meetings about small affairs of her people, and enjoys walking downtown with her guards and a few favored members of her court to see the lower parts of the city outside the Citadel.
· Her preferred topic of research is society and people's relationship and behavior with Religion, be it of the Eleven or other deities.
· She was born from an upper-class family of scholars and people of Faith, but her unexpected connections and network eventually gave her the tools to play with different toys... Such as trade, politics, and eventually more underground activities.
· Her connections to the criminal organizations of Kheme Harbor are known: it's not something that is necessarily discussed out loud or in public, but it is no secret. She subtly uses it as a means of intimidation and corruption with political opponents.
· Despite everything, Highlady Sapt is a symbol of "common folks" breaking the glass ceiling and finally pulling power back from the hands of ancient regal dynasties. She takes this very seriously, and aims for nothing less than greatness for her people and province. She's widely considered a progressive and good leader, and she's overall quite appreciated by Khemian citizens.
· She tries to rely equally on all of her iry-pat, but she's especially trustful in Erebus, even though he's far from being the court's favorite.

Arthur - Best friend Arthur is Sapt's best friend, confident, personal chef, the one she counts on to slap her back to reality with a huge fish from the market if she starts doing things untrue to her vows and values without noticing. His "Messmaster Arthur's special fish soup" signature dish is her favorite food. |

Erebus - Advisor Erebus is an incredibly competent scholar, and usually provides great insights on all kinds of situations. He's a good man to have on your side, and Sapt has an almost blind trust in his good faith (can't say the same of everyone). He's also smart, compassionate, and grounding. |
