Peach has travelled a long way from home, taking the opportunity afforded to those brushing past the cusp of adulthood to hone their skills by travelling the world as his parents had once travelled the stars, but he carries with him the industrious mindset that his upbringing instilled into him. Once a scrap scavenger, always a scrap scavenger. He lived life in shades of ruddy ore and shining iron, gathering them and thinking no more on them once they were hauled off to be processed by the sprawling forges his home was surrounded by. A quiet, 'get it done' type, Peach was endlessly fascinated by the remannts of the Astrolab, remembering tales from his parents of a life they'd once lived. Ruined tech and gleaming metal would be a fine harvest to inspect and learn from, taking home with him to feed into the endless maw of ashfall salvage - but it was not, as he discovered, free scrap to salvage, chased by a vocal and strangely heated shadow-eyed aether when he'd tried. Making peace was something of an endeavour between Peach and Lumi, though he quickly bonded with the quick-talking and somewhat outlandish Arcie - a bond that still persists to this day, as the two are now partners. Peach is very sure he intended to leave the ramshackle little 'base' built from the wreckage of their fallen laboratory behind, but he didn't, settling in with the scientists to relatively little protest, all in a rare agreement that if he kept his nose out of working business then it wasn't really an issue if he wanted to rest among their repuirposed wreck. Though outside his usual wheelhouse, he pitched a paw in wherever he was able to and has ambitions of understanding all of the strange arcane technology that's left in ruins - as well as ensuring his fellow aethers eat and, perhaps more importantly to Surgi, ensuring that her specimens don't end up as food themselves. |
