Celestine doesn't make the decision to leave the Behemoth lightly. But as hatchlings leaving the tree return to the Loop with visions of skies that Celestine has never seen, she finds that she cannot bear the idea of only experiencing them second-hand. Jadzia isn't convinced, at first. But as the experiences from away loop back into their shared consciousness again and again, they also grow curious.

The pair of them leave with the blessing of the elders, accompanied by three eager hatchlings and two other companions. They fly through skies that Celestine could never have imagined, vibrant sunrises and violent storms. She loves it.
