Last remaining child of Velora's first clutch.
Karine's siblings were all guardians who became personally insulted by their mother's lack of a Charge. They left the moment they could and though Velora searched for them they haven't been seen by any of the clan since their departure. For her part Karine remains close to all her parents, helping her mothers run the clan, but she is closest to her father. Gilo lives within his own wing of their home and Karine lives there with him.
All know to respect Karine but none are more a friend to her than Seranta. They are nearly inseparable and love playing with their familiars and exploring together. They also share a mate in Shiver who they drag along on all their adventures despite his constant complaints.
