Opheila was the first dragon sent over from Clan Sparklebutts, sent over as part of an established alliance between Lena and Sythiel, an exchange of their firstborn children. Though told to behave, Opheila took to hiding wherever she could in the Lair, batting away any curious Clanmates with her large wings and hissing at them the best she could. Miremel wasn't frightened of her, and would sit just outside her wingspan and read his stories to her. Slowly, she came to trust him, taking her name from one of the recurring characters in his stories who she could tell was based on her.
