Belahdia

The daughter of Mhachi and Yafaem, who inhereted both their strong will and their fascination with the unknown, though didn't gain their social charms. Quiet and shy, Belahdia will often try to duck out of gatherings that her parents would confidently mingle with and while they tried to ease her into being more comfortable in these situations, they both realised quickly that it just wasn't her thing. Encouraging her love of reading and learning instead, Belahdia grew up with access to a wealth of books and soaked up knowledge like a sponge.

Given tomes of both fiction and non-fiction, she developed an unexpected fixation early on with stories featuring swords and surprised her parents yet again by gaining an interest in learning swordplay over sorcery. Reaching out to an acquaintance or two, the pair managed to get Belahdia various potential tutors. Choosing to learn from them all, she now makes regular journeys to meet with her multiple teachers, spending a week or two under their wings at a time.

Despite her discomfort with crowds, Belahdia possesses a quiet confidence in herself that she never feels the need to prove through boasting or making grand displays.
