Nexus

Sargon's childhood best friend and business partner - the two started the Nexonicks Corporation together, creating highly advanced robot systems. Nexus was more adept at actual business matters, as Sargon preferred his robots. When Sargon started the GENESIS program, Nexus wanted to market the technology for military and security purposes - going against Sargon's vision for it. Ultimately, the disagreement led to the program shutting down - and Sargon's disappearance.

Nexus was left to attempt to maintain both the business and technology side of the company, choosing to take over Sargon's role on various projects left behind. His lack of experience and skills would eventually lead to a disaster that resulted in the lab he was working on a project at being destroyed, and Nexus permanently fused to machinery in the lab. The lab was abandoned after, but Nexus remains - seemingly unconscious and permanent fused to the machinery that somehow still stood running, but alive..
