CLEARKISS
Head of Food Distribution

Clearkiss often gets the feeling that he's destined for greatness. Just what sort of greatness, though, he can't say for certain. Sometimes he thinks that it will be some magical accomplishment, living up to his Arcane background. Sometimes he thinks that it will be in the development of some sort of trade, as he's always had an interest in making things. Sometimes he thinks that he will invent something new, as he enjoys playing around with various technological constructs.

For now, though, Clearkiss is the Head of Food Distribution. It is not a glamorous position, but it is a vital one. He ensures that every dragon in the clan has their fair share to eat, making sure that no one goes hungry, and that no one takes more than his or her fair share. Mostly, this duty manifests itself in taking some of Val's dishes to some of the more reclusive, work-oriented dragons of the clan (such as Lindsay, for example), who sometimes forget how important it is to stay well-nourished.

While he gets along very well with Val, the main dragon that he answers to as Head of Food Distribution, there is a good deal of tension between himself and Charm. He sees her experiments as a potential waste of food, and is one of the dragons who is the most opposed to her experiments. As much as he loves the idea of experimentation, food is something that he sees more as a matter of necessity than something that should be trifled with. To be able to experiment, though, she sometimes requires more than her usual daily allotment of food, which she doesn't even eat, but simply covers in spices and cheese, and sometimes the results aren't even edible. It is no wonder, then, that she and Clearkiss often don't see eye-to-eye.
