Astra

Astra is mischievous, silly, and a total prankster. She thinks she's subtle, but so often can barely contain her excitement or laughter she admits to the pranks without prompting. She has had more than a few gentle slaps on the wrist for her cheeky behaviour. She spent much time with Galactus and Friga under Beelzebub's care, before the four of them found Whitcliffe.

Astra was initially raised by her grandfather, a very elderly Guardian who had taken her into his care when his daughter had chosen, instead of motherhood, to answer the call of the Shadowbinder. Whilst he may not have agreed with her decision, to join the Shadowbinder's ranks was a noble cause, and so he respected it, and agreed to watch over Astra. He soon realised that he had overestimated the strength he had left, and in his age he became frail and ill. Astra remembers the morning she met Beelzebub; a strange, two-headed dragon entering her cave, two hatchlings of different species by their side, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. Beelzebub had introduced themself, and the hatchlings, and had offered Astra's grandfather aid. Herbs, poultices and the like were whipped up by the strange dragon and used to treat her grandfather. But after what was maybe a week, her grandfather began to refuse the help. He thanked Beelzebub for their help, but he had accepted that this was his time. He implored Beelzebub to take Astra with them, to which the strange dragon agreed. Shortly after her grandfather's passing, Astra followed Beelzebub to new horizons, and eventually found her new home, along with her new family, with the Whitcliffe Clan.
