Telemere

One of two royal twins who fled their beds in the night when their parents were lost and their palace overthrown. Their throne is now occupied by a usurper and they've nothing to fight back with, except vain hope in reaching a family friend on the other side of Sornieth and beseeching aid.

Telemere still has his royal signet ring—too big for his little claws—but he vows to grow into it before he returns home with intent to retake his home. In spite of being young enough to remember the feeling of an eggshell on his head, he's a strong little child, grown up too fast and filled with iron resolve.

While traveling the twilight fringe between Shadow and Light with his sister, they met a pair of Stagcrest rangers who would become their guides across perilous territory towards hope, and away from home.
