Gameset and Match inherited HappynLucky's love for gaming, only that it's less about the thrill of winning/losing gold and more about the thrill of outwitting others. Both head are pretty sharp, but Match is better at thinking carefully in intense situations, while Gameset finds it harder to be focused under pressure.

They got a chess set from HappynLucky while Lucky was digging for treasure. They didn't know how to play at first, but had guidance from Happy, they ended up enjoying the game so much they would end up playing multiple games of chess with other dragons and each other.

Sometimes when he is losing, Match would eat chess pieces while Gameset isn't looking. Gameset would be very suspicious whenever Match tries to initiate a game for this reason.

Before NeronSeph moved out from the RDR Clan in pursuit of magical knowledge, GamesetNMatch would often mistake the crystals they found for pieces from a board game many times, much to NeronSeph's dismay.

A few days after GamesetNMatch has defeated Ripple in a game of chess, Ripple began training in the Coliseum with Elio, the clan's best fighter. GamesetNMatch, not wanting to lose to Ripple in physical strength, also ended up joining the training sessions as well.
