Bloody Ripples Despite his upbringings in a large and wealthy clan along Rotrock Rim, Mindfog's childhood was still one of great strictness and discipline. Manners were everything, appearance even more so. A dragon who liked something unique would be outcast, and a dragon who didn't worship the Plaguebringer was exiled entirely. Every movement, every word, every hobby and interest had to be approved by his parents. Under these pressures, the Mirror longed for something much more. More freedom, more power. Then, one starless night...whispers. They promised him all that he craved, and flooded his dreams with visions of filthy red waters and a clan under his rule. The whispers revisited him, night after night, until he couldn't stand another night under his parent's roof--and like that, he was gone from their lives. Mindfog traveled tirelessly from the heart of the Plague territory to its very edge, where the whispers then visited him at all hours, growing louder. When at last these strange voices reached their loudest, the Mirror was compelled to dig. And dig he did, until his claws bled raw and he reached a cavern with secrets he may never know. He plunged a bloodstained talon into the well of crimson at its center... It's not unheard of for a dragon in power to separate themselves from their citizens, but Mindfog takes it to another level with his complete seclusion from the rest of the clan. The soft-spoken Mirror dragon rarely leaves the side of the well in the Deep Den, and all of his duties that require an in-person presence are done on his behalf by his mate, Greenfew. At all hours, day and night, any of the advisors that enter to speak to him will almost always find him staring, unblinking, into the well's unending fathoms. None of them are sure that they've ever seen him eat, drink, or anything else, either. Voice claim: n/a |

Marigold Son Mindfog's favorite out of all of his offspring. Although they don't get to meet often, Marigold makes frequent visits to the Deepwell to check up on his father's health. The deeper happenings of the Wellborne make him uneasy, however, and he pointedly avoids involving himself with his father's work. |
