Sparkso's 'unidentified dragon' alarm beeped nicely from its interface on Rjao's wrist. Looking down with the hope that perhaps whatever Sparkso had found would cure the slight itch of boredom beneath their scales, they found a very much identifiable dragon.

Sighing, Rjao made a note to tweak with its recognition program if they had the time. The last time they had added in code, it had been to implement a sash recognition program in order to not get an alarm every time it passed by another Ekessal in the sanctum.

Hey, Dalahali, they typed into the interface, speaking through Sparkso.

From Sparkso's video feed, they saw Dalahali look up at their golem. He was looking marginally better than the last time Rjao had seen him, less gaunt and haggard, but he had forgone his usual jewelry and updo in favor of a simple outfit with little flair. If the way he was leaning into his partner, Nakholm, said anything, he was still weak and recovering from his last vision.

The vision had been helpful, yes, and there were a dozen Ekessal gone from their sanctum in order to reign in the destruction on the rainforest to the east of the Viridian Labyrinth, but unwelcome visions took a lot out of Dalahali. And as one of the last remaining seers since the disappearance of the Tidelord, the pressure wasn't just from his ailing physical state.

How are you doing?

"I'm able to get out of bed without this idiot yelling at me," Dalahali told Sparkso, flicking his tail lethargically against Nakholm's.

What is he? A healer? they returned.

Dalahali's eyes were tired, but he laughed lightly, smiling softly as Nakholm nudged his snout in feigned irritation.

"I'm the one who snuck you out of here so you could get some sun," he said.

"Oh, I know," he said. "And I love you for it, but you've been almost as bad as Gaelinn."

Nakholm huffed lightly as if offended, but Rjao knew he didn't really have a mean bone in his body, and he certainly would never be offended by Dalahali.

Dropping Sparkso closer with a manual command, they typed, I'm glad you're doing a little better.

"Thank you, Rjao," Dalahali said.

Rjao? Who's Rjao? This is Sparkso.

"Of course," Dalahali said smoothly. "I knew that. Thank you, Sparkso."

I'll be going back to patrol, 'let you two have your peace."

"With him?" he asked, nodding his head towards Nakholm. "When I'm like this?"

"Alright, alright," Nakholm huffed, ruffling his wings. "We get it."

Drink your vitamins, Dalahali. You too, Council Member, they typed before settling Sparkso back into its typical patrol route.

The last thing its video feed picked up before it was out of range was Dalahali telling Nakholm, "If you try to get me to drink my vitamins in a smoothie, I will join the fanatics and find the Tidelord myself."
