VOCATION AND PURSUIT
Council Member | Runes Scholar |
>> Youngest member on the council in First Sanctum history >> Incredibly talented and brilliant when it comes to runes and rune manipulation; his methods have been exported to other sanctums >> His area of study is ley line and energy control >> Too nice for his own good; will lie through his teeth with scary accuracy if he doesn't want to hurt your feelings >> Multi-lingual; speaks and signs Watern, speaks Earthern, and knows just enough Lightern to get by in a conversation >> Mumbles in his native language, Watern, when working by himself >> Life partners with Dalahali; calls him 'dew flower' in Watern >> Has been friends with Hiesh since their fledgling days; she likes dragging him along on shopping trips in the city >> Super powerful swimmer >> Has tattoos along the topside of both his wings, done by Pharos |

"You should have seen the fledglings today, Dalahali. Xalu has remarkable control over the energy she..."
Nakholm trailed off as soon as he stepped into the room shared by him and Dalahali. The overhead light had been turned off, keeping the room in darkness that made it difficult to see what was even a few centimeters in front of him. Not even the window in the room could let in a shred of light; it had been covered up and the blanket pinned to the wall to keep the room in airtight darkness.
Just out of reach was a lump on the bed, hardly distinguishable among the mess of blankets.
Nakholm swallowed the rest of his sentence and gently clicked Dalahali's name in Watern. The lump on the bed shuffled, and with a slow roll, his partner turned over.
"Hey, dew flower," he hummed. "Rough day?"
There was a small, whiny click from Dalahali confirming the rough day. Nakholm let out his breath through his nose. Shrugging off his overcoat, he left it hanging over the desk in their room and settled himself by their bed, gingerly nosing his partner's cheek.
"You have your armband on?"
There was another, weaker click of "Yes..."
"Alright, good."
Concentrating on the water in the air around them, Nakholm blew out a cold breath of air, lowering the temperature around Dalahali's face to something that would help soothe the obvious headache he had. At the first brush of it, Dalahali gave a small noise of contentment, shuffling a tiny bit closer to him.
Nakholm had learned long ago that talking any more than he needed to was a bad idea, so he settled into silence with Dalahali, keeping his attention on cooling the air rather than trying to provide comfort through words.
