Worker of Mines

It's said that Riven hatched on the Thorndark Altar, emerging from the stygian pool as a hatchling. That's actually not true; Riven fell into the pool as a child, and terrified the dragons present when he was finally able to claw his way out. Either way, the encounter left Riven with a horrid fear of the dark, and the creatures that might lurk within.
