Give a greeting to this gorgeous eye-catching gal who joined the clan on July 11th, along with her mother, at 7:30 pm MDT! :D

WinterSonata was a great many things. She was a singer of songs and a keeper of bees and a mother of children. She was also a rather anxious dragon.

So, when her first hatched son was fretting over his first clutch of eggs it had made her anxious. In turn, this had made him more anxious, which had made her more anxious which had made him more anxious and on and on until her Great-Grandmother had come in and kicked both of them out of the nesting grounds. Now she was scavenging the taiga near the cave for pine boughs.

Sonata sighed and reared up on her hind legs to snap another branch off the tree when something caught her eye. About three Fae lengths above her was a hollow in the pine. Inside the hollow something glimmered. Immediately overcome with the soft primal chant of “treasure-treasure-treasure” she ran a claw through the hollow and – oh.

Inside the hollow lay two icy eggs. Two dragon eggs.

Sonata cradled them two her chest. Maybe she could convince her son to grant her two more grandchildren.

AuroraSong loves his brother MidnightSerenade, his grandmother WinterSonata and late to midcentury Ridgeback opera. When he was little he swallowed a caterpillar and burped up a butterfly three months later. )
