To be one of Vitali's bloodline is an honour, as much as it is a duty. Penthesilea knows this deep in her bones. From the moment she and her brother have been old enough to prowl, to train, to hunt, she has thrown herself into her vocation as a protector with the solemn dedication of living up to her ancestor's name.

As silent and solemn as a moonlit night, she knows the virtue of patience. Penthesilea does not rush into a battle without first assessing it. She does all that she can to avoid injury, not because she is afraid of the pain but because she knows that she is most effective at protecting her clan when she is at her full strength.

Outside of battle, she is gentle and enjoys to warm her scales in the sunlight and is often found within earshot of her brother as Perseus weaves stories for the others in their clan.
