A new, spirited soul has joined our small community!
FirstSnow shows every sign of a being a friendly, charismatic little thing. He seems to have some trouble actually expressing these emotions, but that's of no lasting concern to me. I fully believe he will grow into his social skills, and those amazing pink scales.
He seems awful taken with one of the swirling orbs in the library--I often find him sitting there, murmuring to it. I've wondered about its sentience for a while now, perhaps I should ask him some questions...

I'm not sure why I had any concern at all that Snow would remain as delicate as he was when he was a hatchling forever. The beast towers over me now! We all should consider ourselves lucky he's as well mannered as he is, I just hope he grows into his spatial awareness soon...

I doubt any of the newer members of the glen would believe me, had I told them FirstSnow chattered non-stop as a hatchling. We're all well enamored with his gentle smiles and calm, precise words, but I always think back to the bouncy, tiny fellow that I first met. He's certainly an awful lot like his father, in most regards.
I shouldn't think his quietness is related in anyway to unhappiness--he seems perfectly content with his life in the glades. A couple months ago I let him take that orb back to his own den, much to his delight, and I still see him speaking to it quietly on frequent occasion.
It's interesting; I know plenty of dragons develop scale patterns as they grow, but I can't help thinking he looks more and more like the swirling patterns of that orb.
