The Cerulean Warbler is most commonly found in hardwood forests, and choose to nest in tall canopies. The warbler can migrate up to 5000km (3100 miles) which can take from 40-70 days to complete. This breed of bird is monogamous, and it takes 7 days to build a suitable nest and will produce 1 brood a year. Birds of the same sex are aggressive toward each other during their breeding season.

The females can lay up to 3-5 eggs over the course of 7 days and incubation can take up to 12 days.
