Name: Drift
Personality: Reserved, Deferential, Melancholy.
Origin: Clanbred
Her dam, Misfortune, was an unappreciated replacement for a male Imperial hatchling originally promised to Cloudchaser's clan who perished before he reached maturity. Misfortune was thus the second hatchling sent to the clan in his stead, and she never managed to step out from under the stigma of her unlucky origin, particularly when only one of five hatchlings between her and Redemption proved viable. Both her parents left to serve the Lightweaver as soon as Drift was capable of taking care of herself.
Drift is the only surviving offspring of her departed parents. She has been paired with Abyss, promised as a hatchling to the union, though the clan has thus far refused them the use of a nest. She considers their lack of progeny a personal failure, despite Abyss' assurances he is ambivalent to their status as a non-breeding pair. She wears her dam's clan bracelet at all times despite being Light-born herself and not needing the token as proof of her right to stay in the Sunbeam Ruins.
