Biography

Sorbet
Sorbet is the latest dragon in a long family line of master ice cream artisans, who have been making frozen treats for so many generations that their secret recipe is ingrained in their blood, and hatchlings know the recipe from hatching and can never forget it…Or so she says. The truth is that for all the clan knows, Sorbet was a foundling who has lived with them for her entire life. She could be a descendant of master ice cream artisans who genetically passed their recipe down to her. Or maybe she dreamed it. No one may ever know.

Regardless of where Sorbet came from, she’s here now, in Electrician’s Edge. And on sunny days, Electrician’s Edge gets hot, hot, hot. Sorbet has turned her den space into an ice cream parlor, and serves guests and clanmates alike as they come to get a refreshing treat to cool down. Sorbet, gelato, ice cream, sherbet, frozen yogurt — her shop has the works. And her sweet frozen treats come in a variety of flavors. If you ask for something she doesn’t have, she gets excited and writes it down to try out the next day.

And how does she keep her ice cream from melting in the Shifting Expanse’s dry heat? She uses her own Ice magic! Sorbet will use her innate Ice magic to lower the temperature in her den space to freezing, so that anyone can use her shop to cool down, even if they don’t like ice cream, and, more importantly, to keep her product from melting. Despite the ice in her veins, sometimes the low temperatures are too much for even Sorbet, so she always bundles up to run her shop.

Sorbet is usually just as sweet as her product, but don’t be fooled — she would lay her life down to protect her “family recipe”. Nobody seems particularly interested in stealing it, but Sorbet remains paranoid and on edge that one day, someone is going to. She’s upbeat and chatty and bubbly, unless she perceives you as a threat to her ice cream shop. And if she does, Stormcatcher help you — Why would you ever intentionally anger a dragon who can drop the temperature around you to below zero?
