Yeah, he was a tempermental one alright. Even as a hatchling, his mother said he was so angry he almost boiled his own egg. And by this point, he believed she was probably right. It was never that he was incapable of patience itself, so much as that he found he was incapable of the act of waiting. His mind went too fast for him to slow down, which was classic Spiral nature really. Truth be told, he usually preferred to just relax quietly by himself, but sometimes the smallest of things would just set him off. And most times he wished he wasn't so very brash, even when attempting to show gratitude or a softer emotion that he usually kept tucked away. But he always grew angry when the others would be too slow to keep up with him.
One day he got a bit too out of hand for his clan however.
He broke out into a full out fight, nearly killing the other dragon in his blind rage. All he could recall was seeing red and just suddenly feeling like he'd finally had enough. His clan, realizing his temper would eventually prove fatal for him or another member of the clan, decided to send him far away. He wandered the churning, scalding wastes of the Flamecaller's land until he came upon Ruvik’s rather compact cavern. Immediately there was something about the dragon put him at ease in an inexplicable way. He felt as if he was MEANT to be there. A total connection with himself.
This was the first time he’d ever felt so calm…

Naturally, he stuck around, eager to find out the cause. He spent time witht the young man, respecting his quick mindset which he desperately craved to have someone keep up with his overactive Spiral nature. Eventually growing to be a good friend of Ruvik’s, the Mirror placed him in a fitting position; Advisor of War. Reality began fogging back in and he chuckled at the memory before taking into account a familiar shape. Grunting, he felt his neck scales prickle with the familiar sensation of annoyance. He threw a rock at the figure, a loud THWACK sounding off. “Get back to WORK Vein, your lunch break was over seven moons ago!” He called to the blue female. “Loosen up for a change you wound-up, old, rusted spring! I only just got here!!” “And I'll come over there with a much bigger rock if you don't skedaddle!” By Flamecaller, he loves this clan to bits... |
