He returns every once in a while, to sell trinkets to fund his expeditions, but he and his traveling companions set off to their next location within the month. He used to plan his trips as little as possible, only following the scent of excitement on the wind. Now that he's older, he has a little more foresight. He maintains there's nothing like the thrill of the unknown, but he works with his traveling group to ensure the itinerary will provide positive experiences for each of them.

The only child of traveling merchants, Tame is well-versed in the buying, selling, and haggling of curiosities. His high-pitched voice and erratic body language may repel potential customers, though his energy and passion for his wares draw just as many in. Every product has a story to tell, and Tame is an exceptionally good storyteller.

While Tame prides himself in the knowledge and experience that comes from traveling over so many decades, he can be a bit of a dope. He's not the most graceful creature in the world, often stumbling over himself and falling out of tree branches, and he has a habit of assuming people know what he's thinking when his train of thought is entirely inscrutable to others.

Tame has been on the move his entire life; his parents journeyed with him across the entire Windswept Plateau. He developed a taste for compasses and maps, resolving to intensify his parents' travels to a globe-wide affair. Of course, then he met his now-wife, Wild.

They were fast friends, but he knew she wouldn't be suited to the globetrotting lifestyle. (Especially if her charge was something as stationary as a forest.) So, resignedly, he set off for his first batch of escapades. Except he had to check in after a month or two. She was his best friend, for cripes' sake! Of course he had to check in, just this once. Or twice. Or dozen times.

Tame is always eager to see the Coalition when he returns from his adventures. He wholeheartedly believes he will one day convince Jewel to add a traveling guild to their list of organizations.

Tame posited the idea of children. He'd always wanted to show someone the joy of traveling, like his parents did for him, and he enjoyed sharing stories with children who'd drop by to run around with Wild. Wild, of course, wanted children as well, so they adopted Feral and Domestic. Tame was overjoyed when they grew to be just as travel-hungry as him.

  • originally named untamed, to match with wild. then changed his name to "nimbus" because untamed looked too similar to unnamed. then changed his name to "tame" to still match with wild and keep a bit of his old name.

  • mostly sells herbs and spices from his travels, but does branch out into crafts and trinkets on occasion
  • he used to look like this. god knows what i was thinking. idk why it says dragon id not valid, that's what he used to look like. tomato clown and all.
  • i gave him koi completely on impulse. i think maybe that was a bad idea and i should not have spent so many gems so impulsively. however he IS cute
