Despite Wild's impressive size and constant murderous expression, it's very hard to provoke, upset, or generally evoke any reaction from her. Actually, it's very hard to get her to do anything other than doze under her favorite copse of trees. She appreciates the simple pleasures in life, rarely exerting herself beyond wandering her tiny forest or playing a game of tag with any younglings she may stumble upon. The ones that don't run, anyways. While her stern face belies an easygoing demeanor, it doesn't exactly elicit welcoming feelings to those that see her.

Wild's house, or the closest thing she has to a house, rests within her forest, outside the borders of the town itself: a tent she relocates every so often when the urge presents itself. She is Wind-born, after all. The sedentary lifestyle doesn't quite suit her, even if she doesn't feel the need to travel the world with her family.

Wild is not the type to decorate herself in frills and jewelry; her overcoat protects her well enough from the elements. She is, however, the type to make her loved ones happy. Tame and her children insist ribbons and baubles suit her, and so she wears the souvenirs they bring from their journeys. It's the least she can do, since she can't accompany them. She needs to protect her forest.

Wild met Tame when she grew ill on her Search and stopped in an Ambertown to heal. Both teenagers at that point, she and Tame bonded over their shared experiences with travel; Wild had already scoured half the continent for her Charge, while Tame's family moved near-constantly as merchants. Tame accompanied Wild on her Search with the intent of breaking off on his own to explore the world. Which he did once she reached her forest. He returned, of course, but he warned her he wouldn't next time. She accepted this, though she certainly didn't complain when she found him perched on a tree branch a few months later. One thing led to another, children were added to the mix, and Wild still delights to find him waiting by her tent.

When her family is "home", they stay with Wild in her tent. More often than not, though, her only companions are the Coalition, who use a clearing in Wild's forest as their meeting place. They've visited weekly for over ten years, and she considers them her closest friends. She practically raised a few, being quite a bit older than their youngest.

Her lonesome nature does not make her inhospitable to strangers. She greets her forest's visitors with cautious friendliness, and, after ensuring they have no ill intent, may brew them a pot of tea or invite them to rest by her fire. Tame and her children gift her foreign brews, spices, and recipes when they return from their adventures, and she's happy to share with weary travelers.
