she/her

most of the group feral accompanies enjoy travel for the journey, for the discovery, for the joy of experiencing something new. feral travels for the knickknacks. don't get her wrong, she likes hanging out with new people and tasting new foods well enough. but she'll be damned if she doesn't seek out as many treasures as she possibly can.

these treasures often aren't worth as much monetarily as they are sentimentally. broken children's toys, faulty skeleton keys, bottle caps from soda brands exclusive to a tiny dragonhome county... all of these have a place within feral's collection. she scours flea markets and thrift shops for curiosities most would consider mundane.

she does have some discerning taste, though. she is just as likely to drop millions of coins on a piece of fine silk as she is to scoop an empty chip bag off the street and call it hers.

feral is a master haggler. utilizing her experience and her inherent emotion-sensing magic, she can leave a store with an armful of oddities and barely a dent in her wallet. while she isn't exactly smart, financially speaking, she'll do everything in her power to secure a good deal. if she's buying from a shop that allows it, anyways.

unlike the rest of her traveling group, feral owns property. a one-room apartment within the poorer district of the town, it is here feral keeps everything she's collected over the years. every surface is covered in trinkets, textiles, and other assorted goods, including the bed. she insists sleeping on the floor is good for your back.

the only relatively undecorated area within feral's home is the kitchenette, where feral tests recipes she's found on her travels. recipe cards are a favorite when it comes to her collection, and while feral is an entirely average cook, she greatly enjoys trying new recipes and discovering her favorites.

the children that visit her mother's tent often beg feral to show them the spoils of her ventures, and she is more than happy to oblige. while more fragile treasures are off-limits, hardier or already-broken trinkets can keep the kids busy for hours when wild thornberry wants to catch up with her husband. occasionally, feral will lose something to a child's pocket, but she doesn't necessarily mind. so long as her treasures are appreciated, she doesn't care where they end up.

feral has been traveling with her father's group for as long as she can remember, so of course she's close with tesla and pavel. tesla looked after feral and domestic when tame wasn't around, and feral views pavel as a sort of cousin, despite the fact domestic can't stand him. or perhaps because of it. feral loves her sibling, but she also loves to pester.

i can't remember how much i bought her for. she and domestic came together, obviously. i wanted to adopt two wind dragons who were siblings who didn't have any other siblings on the auction house, so that one wouldn't feel left out. i care very deeply for the feelings of these fake dragons.
she likes to tell others that the vial around her neck contains a deadly toxin. it's actually lavender oil. she smears it under her nose if she plans to dumpster-dive.
the joke with her and her sibling is that she's the less feral of the two. she likes to decorate her apartment in the city and cook new foods.
