Biography
Sage is one of the two children of Pippin and Galadriel who decided to stay in the Rose Clan after her mother left. She and her sister, Kife, had decided to be trained to be exalted, but that dream was quickly crushed when Kife died to save her sister's life. Sage refused to return to her Clan, instead forging ahead on the path the Arcanist had set for her- and gaining several companions along the way. Together, they formed Clan Wanderlust, a wandering band of misfits who soon considered one another family. But, that family was broken when the accident happened- Gavina, a young, upbeat Tundra who had recently raised a clutch with Clan Wanderlust's deputy, a Fae named Gelland who kept his feelings masked behind his birdskull headdress, was washed away in an avalanche while the small Clan was traversing through the Southern Icefield. The Clan mourned her disappearance and eventually drifted off to sleep. When they awoke, however, where the Fae had rested he had simply left his headdress with a note attached- the Clan's deputy had stolen away in the night to find his mate. With the loss of two Clanmates, the rest of the Clan dispersed. The five children of the two lost all eventually left to serve under the Arcanist to honor their Arcanist-worshipping mother's beliefs, despite the late Tundra being a water dragon. The rest of the Clan found other settlements to live with- settlements that could not be so easily shaken by the loss of a member as Clan Wanderlust was. Strapping Gelland's purple birdskull headdress to her arm in remembrance, Sage made the long journey back to her home Clan alone, except for her trusted Hainu, Murchu. Tears of joy were shed upon her arrival, but despite her Clanmates' happiness, Sage was not content. Her grandmother, a Tundra named Hestia who leads the Rose Clan, sensed this unhappiness when the young dragon requested to be apprenticed to the Clan's Arcane Philosopher. She tried her best to bury herself in her studies of the Arcanist, but the grief and guilt surrounding her turned to a fog that wouldn't lift. Eventually, Sage was sent to The Agency for Rehoming Lore Dragons as Hestia felt her grievances could not be treated by anyone within the Rose Clan. Although Sage would never raise a word in opposition against her grandmother, especially in the weak state she is currently in, she somewhat despises this agency she has been sentenced to- and most definitely envies the young Tundra that the agency has sent to the Rose Clan to replace her. Alas, it seems that her Hainu, Murchu, is the only creature she trusts anymore.
