Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this fruity triplet wandered a little too far from his home lair Goldenrosi 561581, and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!
Chapter 1: "Inspiration"
Rise, Rouge and Midsummer decided that it would be a great idea to sneak out of the clan to go on a little adventure, until they got swept away too far from home by a large air current. Now these dragon pups are all on their own, feel free to document their misadventures as they try to get home!

Rise's Adventure Book:
Rise knew he wasn't the best flyer yet - though someday - someday he told himself he would practice and practice and possibly even use magic to be the best flyer ever. After all, he was going to be an amazing mage someday. A wind mage. A super amazing wind mage!
Chapter 2: "But it Was Such a Good Idea"
Rise was absolutely sure that his fellow triplets, led by himself, Rise the absolutely-going-to-be-great, would have no problems flying anywhere they wanted to go. So he started them off on a great adventure. Unfortunately, he was absolutely wrong.
Part of the inherent magic of Windswept Plateau is that that any native dragon will have the wind as their guide. They will feel the right direction, the crosswinds and airstreams will bless and guide them and their journeys will be swift and true. While they are on or above the Windswept Plateau. Though there are air currents and slipstreams throughout Sorineth, the blessing of the Windsinger is limited to that domain, and once away from that benevolent energy, the very currents of the air become potential dangers. Rise and his siblings found this out the hard way. Buffeted by merciless winds, spiraling up so high that the air felt thin and there was little for his wings to grab hold of. Eventually spiraling downward into what looked like a vast expanse of green, Rise landed, exhausted and graceless and more than half asleep into what looked vaguely like some kind of pool or pond.
An Even Better Idea, Maybe?
The pool that Rise had crashed into turned out to be part of MoonRun's Clan (Newtinmpls #657323) and a number of Undertides soon emerged from the pool to check on the unexpected visitor. MoonRun came by, sniffed the exhausted sleeping Tundra and said "Smells like he needs some lessons and then some help." Then she wandered off.
Rise was initially startled by their unusual appearance, and soon asked if they could fly well. This led to a good deal of laughter as Nautilophos, one of the younger Undertides giggled at the idea. "We fly," she exclaimed. "From the depths of the deepest seas to higher than most clouds can be found." Rise was astonished, and his first thought was to somehow take flying lessons from her, and develop such skills. One of the clan's scouts and warriors, an agile spiral named RealgarEcho helped Nautilophos to create obstacle courses to try and challenge and develop Rise's skills and flying ability. This went on for long months and Rise grew to love his new clan sibs.
However he struggled with complex flying. At first hopeful, then slowly over time more frustrated and less enthusiastic, Rise eventually realized that as a Tundra, he simply did not have the build for a flyer.
Depressed and weary after practice after ineffective practice, Rise was sitting on the edge of the pool, with Nautilophos commiserating gently when First Consort WitCloud arrived with a package. "MoonRun said you needed these." Carefully Rise opened the complex packaging, and his eyes widened. "But these...But I.."
WitCloud smiled. "She has that effect sometimes. So I ask, clan-guest, is this what you dream of?"
Rise held the scrolls in trembling talons. "Yes." He said. "Yes please."
"What's a Mage Without Any Training?"
Rise's travels took him next along stormy gale winds and into the Shifting Expanse, where he stayed with a large pack of (mostly-)Mirrors known as the Tempest Order. Mercenaries by trade, there was much to learn from his time in their company. Mostly combat-oriented things, but a bit of wind magic too!
The stormy weather of the desert was a wonderful teacher as well. There is no hatred in the heart of a storm, but neither is there mercy. It was an effective balance, and he took what lessons he could from it before heading on his way. There was still much to see and much to learn!
