Ex-Clan Leader, Member of the First Five
"What do you want?"
Intelligent for a Mirror, she tolerates other species in the lair though is swift to exact a harsh punishment for things not going her way. Though small the clear clan leader, Mashiro, emits authority and a strict rule. She copes with the company of more hardy/combat-oriented species such as the Mirror, Tundra, Wildclaw and Guardian. She despises Pearlcatchers and Fae due to their underhanded tactics and cowardly attitude. With a relatively massive wingspan, Mashiro is a very skilled flier as well as runner. Her familiar is no longer irritating her but all the company she's getting is driving her mental. Gigantic feathered wings, found by her familiar in one of it's wanderings, give her extra lift and control during flight. Due to these upgrades Mashiro is one of the greatest flyers and fighters in her clan. The bird skulls are for luck.
The First Five are the five original founders of the clan and hold much power within the hierarchy. They are very respected and often take newcomers under their wing until they're ready to move on.
After an over 2000 year rule Mashiro has stepped down and given command of the clan to Birdsong and Tiara. This is due to stress and old age or, as she likes to put it, "You insufferable idiots running me into the ground!" which turned her once royal purple fins a pale blue - something she finds quite disturbing. She doesn't know what is going to happen to the clan with that pair at the helm but she trusts that other members of the First Five will keep them in check.
