Yet another mated pair visiting Sunbeam Grotto to nest wasn't anything to shake a wing at, at least until one of their eggs hatched to reveal the face of a long-lost friend. Elders visited the nesting grounds in droves - many for the first time since its relocation - to re-meet Topaz. The day-old hatchling was perfectly comfortable holding court, and somehow already knew - or happened to remember - the names of each of the dragons crowded at her nestside. Topaz wasn't at all surprised about where she was or how she came to be who she was; she was at peace with all that was new and all that was familiar.


i believe all our memories exist within the ocean of the mind, and everyone we have ever known is a part of our being. lost friends, lost toys, lost thoughts all can be found and relived if only we're willing and able to dive deep enough. imagination is the strongest muscle in the body, and recognition is the second - both informed by an animal's base survival instincts but able to create art greater than life.
