When the human Limelight arrived in the land of Sornieth she had gone for the Water Flight to pledge her loyalty to the deity: Lord Tidelord and picked up a small carmine and gold colored fae; they had grown up together from that day forth and gotten very close. Recently, Lady Limelight finally gave Orinda genes to improve her appearance.
Orinda used to be incredibly shy and quiet as that she had not gone out of her lair a lot due to being with Limelight a lot. However she has been with Limelight the longest so she is trusted to handle the newcomers whether or not they are the ones going to be with Lord Tidelord.
Her wizard hat and birdskull necklace are a staple of accessories for her as that she almost never remove them. Her hat has been enchanted to be unable to tear at all.
She used to have more apparel but they all went to The Outlier Sea when she went on the long journey with other Sornieth Dragons. She had made new friends and returned to the lair a changed dragon. Her fellow dragons had noticed the changes in her.
She is more protective of the young ones in the lair. Fiercely so. Also it seems she has come out of her shell considerably and is much more comfortable handing out orders and speaking up her thoughts. Her voice is now gaining volume.
What used to be bright gleam in her oceany blue eyes has been dulled considerably. She has Seen Some Things and Nearly Starved while on The Zee. It is safe to say that it has made An Impact on her.
Shortly after her return from The Zee, another Fae started living in the lair, and Orinda immediately disliked him due to his colors and element as well as the bad first impression she received. It would be a while before they became friendly and afterwards would get together and married.
She is currently in training to be a proper Reaper but she has picked up couple other minor skills from her clanmates such as whispering prayers into Elemental Items for increased blessings in times of need. She has also fairly recently developed an odd habit of perching on other dragons especially if they have large antlers or headfins so it's usually the Imperials and Bogsneaks in her clan that has her perching on their heads. She once tried to perch on the horn of the Pearlcatchers in the clan. The Clan Elder immediately yeeted her off, and the other did not allow her anywhere near her horn. She also tried with the resident Ridgeback, but Windbinder found it uncomfortable the one time Orinda tried to perch on his ridges so she never did it again.
On one of their anniversaries of becoming mates with Orestes, he gifted her a companion; Riot Hazebeacon to keep her safe and company whenever she's away from home. It would be a WHILE before she actually came up with a name for the bird: Blight
Years later after her clan has expanded and gone through changes as well as sending another dragon, Windbinder off on his own adventure; Orinda soon found herself awakening in a cave somewhere having been taken from her precious clan. To her dismay, it was another long adventure for her with new companions. This time, it came with recursions and has messed with her conception of time to a extent. She would later make an upsetting discovery: Her Contaminated Halo had been replaced by Crystalcourt Halo.
To her pure sheer delight, she managed to get a scythe crafted by weapon specialist and it's six meters long! The small Fae absolutely delight in carrying the large weapon around and causing double takes. It's quite the sight!
Despite being a Fae, Orinda has had time to train herself to speak in the Common Tongue so she is easily understood by others but under dire stress or certain cirsumstances; she will slip into Fae quirks/way of speaking which isn't as easily understood
