Biography

Alabaster, the head protogen of the Werter clan. When first meeting him, the first thing he does is gives a warm smile and a good sniff. His memory isn't the best in social outings, but luckily he avoids the awkwardness of the typical tundra memory blunder with the help of Eotua, his mate and fellow protogen. He is well aware of his lack of memory and will ask Eotua about a particular dragon or group before confronting with a greeting.

This awkward tundra also has a knack for treasure hunting, usually finding it as he's digging new burrows for the newest members of his clan. This is a good because his clan is expanding at an alarming rate. Between the purchasing of new members and the breeding of the newly maturing younger dragons, he needs all the treasure that he can find to support them all.

Knowing this, he manages to sell anything that he sees that may have value and hoards the items he believes may have value in the future.

It is a firm belief of this dragon not to sell off his young members of his clan. Only in clans that he considers family and has regular contact with will he allow hatchlings of his clan to be exchanged. The main reasoning for this, he doesn't want to forget those who he's made deep bonds with. The Gladekeeper only knows what he'll start doing when it comes time to exalt some of his clan's members. The only exceptions to this rule is unhatched eggs. With the young dragon inside and him unable to form the bond till they meet, this is the only time he sells off possible members for supplies.

His clan is known for having an abundance of not only dragons but creatures that outnumber his clan's dragon members greatly. He believes that by bringing in these fellow creatures not only helps his clan become closer to the Gladekeeper and her lands but also allows his young members to gain bonds with a particular creature of their choosing. Creating bonds with fellow living creatures, he feels is very important. not only to help each creature out socially, but also helping his young guardian members to find their charge without having to travel long distances.
