Baraz

Baraz (bah-razz) means "exalted" in Persian.

Status: Peacekeeper of Ópal Hylinn

Bio: Baraz was found when he was still in his egg by Nefertari when she was travelling to the Starfall Isles, and brought him back to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. He took to peacekeeping and occasionally helping Gerlinde with the hatchlings, making him rather fatherly towards other dragons, even his elders. Due to his heritage, he tends to stay up nights on end studying other dragons and their habits.

Baraz loathes being interrupted, almost to the point where he will physically lash out against whichever offender is foolish enough to disturb him. However, he is rather weak for a Guardian, therefore his attacks a little more than minor scratches that hatchlings can inflict. This often makes him the target for ridicule for the more mischievous dragons, who often taunt and cajole him playfully.

He can understand the prophecies of the oracles easily, often deciphering them for the rest of the clan. He enjoys riddles and puzzles, though he also hates wasting his time; if he understands that he cannot solve something, he will immediately give up.

Baraz likes eating Fire Ants and has a minor case of enochlophobia, something he desperately tries to overcome. He has yet to actually cure himself of it. His charge is Odharnait.
