Biography
@WorgenWoman
The fat clouds sat on the atmosphere, a curving line above the bamboo forests and stepping-stone cliffs. Beyond the idyllic landscape churned the Cresendo, shredding the clouds that approached like a child pulling at cotton candy. The ship followed the clouds toward that menacing funnel. There seemed plenty of clear air above them, beyond the ceiling of clouds, yet all eyes were fixed ahead. An older Mirror wearing an eye patch began to hum. There behind her someone blew on an eerie pipe. As if that was a signal, the Wind dragons began to sing as the rising wind fought to rip away sound and breath. Another imperial, her dark metallic skin shining even in the shows of the windstorm, laughed into the song and wind. It almost seemed to be her laugh that made the Airship surge. A normal dragon might not be able to make it, yet these dragons spun a ship through air suddenly so powerful it ripped away everything. It didn't just feel like she couldn't catch her breath, the air it slid past her as impossible to breathe as water. It felt like it reached inside to take the air she was holding. Danny leaned against her shoulder, wing flaring to shelter her face slightly. His muscles flexed greatly just to hold a small shelter against the torrent of air, so that she could suck in a stunned breath. He looked at her with a wild smile, one shadowy eye dancing, seeming not to need air. Even in that shelter the battering was brusing, relentless, and felt endless. Impossible to tell of they moved in the tumulet until suddenly, somehow, the ship broke free. The physical force of the wind fell away to a soft breeze, the clouds now far below, the air filled with song. It wasn't just the music of the crew. It came from.... everywhere. A swell of song that thrummed into their bones. The eerie tune the crew sang somehow blended seemlessly with the cheerful song from the platform they approached. Danny mantled his wings only now, brushing against her scales and smiling his wicked smile, "Welcome to Clan Peacebound."
