history
Deep within the heart of an ancient woodland, hidden amongst towering trees and murmuring streams, resided a mystical dragon named Kodama. With scales as green as the forest leaves and eyes that shimmered with the wisdom of ages, Kodama possessed a unique power over life and death. Wherever the dragon's massive form treaded, both growth and decay followed in its wake.

Kodama had been entrusted by the forces of nature to maintain the delicate balance between creation and destruction within the forest. As it walked, every footstep left a trail of duality—where its touch brought both life and demise. The dragon's mere presence could coax the seeds buried in the earth to burst forth with vibrant shoots, while simultaneously wilting the once-lush flora that surrounded it.

For countless generations, Kodama had been the guardian and steward of the forest, revered by the woodland creatures as a deity of sorts. The dragon's domain thrived under its watchful eye, as the delicate cycle of life and death played out in harmony. New saplings emerged from the fertile ground, while decaying matter returned to nourish the soil and fuel new growth.

However, one fateful day, a great disturbance shook the tranquil forest. A nefarious force, Uwabami, emerged from the depths of darkness, seeking to claim the forest's life to fill her stomach. Uwabami sought to exploit the power within Kodama, believing that by subjugating the dragon's abilities, she could control the balance of life and death.

Unaware of the impending threat, Kodama continued its age-old duty, unaware of the danger that loomed. Uwabami, armed with dark magic, launched an assault on the forest, devouring all in her path. Her hunger led her closer and closer to Kodama, the harbinger of life and death. The only one who could fulfil her unyielding hunger. Uwabami's hunger left a path of rot behind her, creating a pulsing heart of rot in the center of the forest.

Sensing the impending doom, the forest creatures rallied together, seeking Kodama's aid. They beseeched the dragon to save the forest, using it's magic to banish Uwabami. With great trepidation and determination, Kodama agreed to vanquish the serpent, venturing forth to confront Uwabami and restore balance to the forest.

As Kodama neared the heart of the corruption, the very ground trembled beneath its feet. Every step it took brought forth a burst of life, as flowers bloomed in a brilliant riot of colors. Simultaneously, the pulsing rot that dared consume Kodama's forest were consumed by the very forces of decay they sought to bring. The dragon's power became an unstoppable force, quelling the rot left behind by Uwabami. Banishing her to the land of storms, where the land is bare and her hunger will not be satisfied.

In the aftermath, the forest slowly healed, as Kodama's dual touch rejuvenated the land. New life sprouted from the ashes, and the creatures of the woodland rejoiced, forever grateful for the dragon's unwavering dedication. But it could not stay for long, it needed to make sure Uwabami would not come back. It followed her to the land of storms soon after, watching over her every move.
