Biography
=IRWEN=
-ABOUT-
Irwen was born and raised in the Terraclae to a pair of senior dragons from Lightning. Wolf, the skydancer leader of the Ashen City, and his obelisk second-in-command, Jack. She had an older brother named Caddock and an older sister named Aye and knew her entire life within the tunnels. She stayed inside spending her time mining, collecting gems for the sake of her Clan. Mining was not the skydancer’s true passion. That would be music. Earth dragons were never known for their artistic abilities, but Irwen’s dreams kept on going. She picked up a violin and started to play.
Then, it happened. Irwen swore she saw something splitting inside the ground. Startled and wanting to know what it was, Irwen dove head-first into forbidden knowledge, packing her bags and going straight to the best place she knew, Arcane. It was on this day that she ran into a spiral named Sovanna, who insisted that she follow Gaia’s words. Taking the plunge, Irwen joined the Gaians. Perhaps then she would find what she was looking for.

It took a long time to adjust to the open air and the bright looks. Irwen’s head would often ache and felt deeply uncomfortable. She started to wear a mask because of this. The skydancer did not have any close connections to the Gaians but nevertheless made her place. The future was uncertain but she knew that there was more to this world than it seems.
-PERSONALITY-
Irwen has always thought a lot about her surroundings. She was known to constantly ask questions and held a great amount of curiosity about both Sornieth and beyond. While she is not traditionally scholarly, she is nevertheless quite intelligent. She is skilled at solving puzzles and problems and uses these abilities to discover solutions others could not. She holds a tongue as sharp as her mind and seems to have an air of mystery to her. Irwen makes a strange remark, then walks off, seeming to gain some kind of glee at what says.
She is known to have a snarky personality, being quite critical of her Clanmates’ attitudes. Irwen is the most likely to note the strange circumstances that the other dragons find themselves in and tends to get the most surprised at seeing eldritch entities. Getting to know Irwen more reveals a more passive side to her, however. While Irwen puts on a tough front, she is actually one of the most easily manipulated members of the Gaians. She struggles to put herself in the front lines and does not have a lot of initiative. This results in her more often than not doing whatever Sovanna or Hibiscus says.
|
Irwen is a gentle soul. She can naturally read the emotions of the room and would rather have intellectual pursuits rather than physical ones. This does not mean she has to be nice about it. She is with the Gaians to learn, not to make friends, and even if she feels the quiet stare of unknowable eyes on her, she is going to seek. That is ultimately what drives Irwen forward, the desire to learn, even at the cost of her life.
