B I O G R A P H Y

The siblings, Ruhak and Rashida, were abandoned at a remote temple where Veranzodias resided as a mortal prophet. Veranzodias took in the two hatchlings, and raised them as his own. The two followed in his footsteps and studied to become powerful prophets in their own right, serving as his primary assistants throughout the years.

When a sudden illness overtook Veranzodias, the siblings approached him to converse about his fate. Veranzodias told the two not to worry, as this end would simply be a new beginning. When he passed, light filled his very being, nearly blinding the two siblings watching over him. When the light subsided, Veranzodias stood before them. He approached the two and wrapped his wings around them in an embrace of affection.

Veranzodias explained to the siblings of his newfound role in the universe. The two siblings bowed before him, vowing to serve him as his Oracles for as long as their lives continued on. In response to this show of loyalty, Veranzodias used his newfound time altering powers to slow the mortal processes of their body to a halt, preventing them from aging.

He warned the two that although they would not perish of old age, weapons could still harm them as they would any regular mortal. With this gift, Veranzodias bid the two siblings farewell, and left to greet his fellows in the Elder Pantheon.

"I could not be more proud of either of you, my children, know that I will always be here, watching over you both," the Prophet spoke with a hum, instilling into the two siblings a gentle sense of calm and warmth.

"Thank you, Prophet, we will not let you down," Rashida nodded, smiling gently at the one who raised her.

"Whatever you ask of us, we will deliver," Ruhak bowed graciously, grateful to the man before him.
