Hailing from the Pox Consulate, Gildhart was raised at the intersection of two opposed worlds, with family in Nature and Plague alike. He took up reading and cartography, fascinated by the breadth of the world, and the variety of dragons within it. He received word from Alioth about the fae clan that had moved into his roses. He reported that the hatchlings were taught much about roses, but not much of anything else. Gildhart stepped up immediately, offering his services as a teacher to the hatchlings of the rose garden. He teaches them reading and history, and helps settle any disputes that may happen for the whole clan. He is a trusted ear and wise advisor.
