Biography
belongs to DragonCloudBurst
Rokan is small but mighty. Due to being a Fae, other dragons habitually underestimate him and his fighting capabilities. Despite that, however, he's a caster to be reckoned with, and is well known within his own clan for creating powerful incantations.
Some consider him a wizard. Others say he's a cultist. Still others say he's just nuts, and think he's faking his strength.
Rokan, however, knows the truth. Born to a warrior lineage, he was trained from a young age by his mother in combat and spellcasting. At first, he resented the constant pressure on him to perform well in combat, but he grew to relish the challenge soon enough.
What does he do other than combat, you ask?
Well... he's quite fond of attempting to (and often failing to) concoct new tea recipes.
Rokan is one of the more peculiar cases that I have come across.
It began when he and an Imperial called Rozu arrived suddenly at the entrance to our lair, bearing a note from Yosei, an old acquaintance of mine. In it, Yosei explained that he was in need of stronger fighters to protect and support his clan, but had no dragons under his command to train others. Apparently Lych and Naina have been making a name for themselves - we're now the subjects of outsourcing.
Much to my chagrin, I have allowed them to temporarily stay.
Rokan is polite and pleasant enough, if a bit loud and boastful, and he has been teaching several of my clan members his tea recipes. A longtime student of the art of the magi, his surprising request upon arrival was to be taught a more claws-out style of combat. As it is much more effective in small-scale battles with maren or harpies, Lych and Naina agreed. He has proven himself just as enthusiastic a practitioner of martial arts as he had been with magic, and has even managed to impress Nigiri - no simple feat.
His training has taken far less time than anticipated, likely due to his previous skill in battle, and as such he will be returning to the Millmeadows soon. While to say that I will miss him is a bit of an overstatement, I cannot say that his presence here has been a detriment to the clan. I wish him, Yosei, and Rozu upon her own return, much luck in their pursuits. The Arcanist smiles upon them, and upon the Windsinger herself!
