Her eloquent manner of speaking and the delicate way she carries herself draws attention to her main line of work━she is an archivist, keeping track of her clan's records. But this guarded demeanor hides the work she does in the shadows. The funds with which she built her clan's library came from her work as a mercenary of sorts... people will pay good money for a nameless blade to do their bidding, and that money can easily be funneled into more noble projects. Alongside the clan's records, she often slips her own works of prose into the archive's shelves. Very unprofessional of her, sure, but no one else is coming to check the archives. They're close enough to call each other siblings, even if the only true relation they have is their connection to the Light flight. Edelweiss often struggles to take Siren seriously, much to the Fae's frustration. Even when his prophecies come true, she still calls it a coincidence and dotes on the tiny dragon as if he were a child. These two were actually very close friends back in the day! They were a duo of sellswords that worked and lived together, until they split off to pursue different things. Since then Weiss has founded a clan and Styx has wandered all over Sornieth. Their reunion was a little awkward, but they're still on good terms!

Weiss hasn't known Hal for very long, but the two get along fairly well. They share a sort of kinship over their indecisiveness; Weiss settled down because she couldn't find any other calling, meanwhile Hal joined the clan since she felt aimless and wanted to contribute something to society.
