In the tradition of his mother and grandmother, Pixis is reputedly named after a great warrior of the tundra dragons.
Unlike many of his ancestors, Pixis actually has lived up to his name to the point of enlisting in the patrols at a young age. Rogue dragons are often found along the borders of Skyfall Isles: plague dragon raiders and ice dragon thieves, to name a few. PIxis is a part of the teams that chase these dragons and other denizens back across the borders.
He specializes in surprise attacks from the sea, as his coat blends with the archipelago waters. Those who have fought him have come to refer to him by such names as "Tiger of the Blue Tides" or "The Cobalt Lion."
There is only one dragon who has eluded his retribution...
